This introduction to diving was excellent for newbies and people who haven’t been diving for a while and need a refresher. The teacher, Doug, was excellent and had a lot of patience for slow and steady learning. You will start off in the pool practicing skills, one of which is getting the wetsuit on!, and then you and a team of dive professionals make your way to the boat. The weather was bad this day and the team worked together with our excellent captain to find a locale where we could all feel safe to jump in and get out. On the way, we saw humpback whales and spinner dolphins! Great team, wonderful experience...I feel comfortable telling everyone to book with this company.
This was an awesome experience and so cool to do in the dark. We saw at least 6 Manta Rays and they literally are right next to you swimming! The team was personable and helpful too. Be sure to bring a jacket or sweatshirt for ride back (which is suggested in the details). I would consider this a must do activity if you enjoy the water.
The trip was excellent. Plenty of time snorkling and also plenty of time getting into close to rocks to look at things. Also stopped to see dolphins and whales. We got lucky and saw one dolphin spin out of the water 10 feet from us. Great guides with a small group of people. Highly recommend. Captain Steve and Jill were great.
Amazing experience. An absolute must for anyone visiting Hawaii. Saw many different manta rays and even swam with some unexpected visitors...Dolphins!!! Simon and his crew made everything super easy and fun. Would recommend this to everyone and we will most certainly be doing it again.
Snorkel site is beautiful, but tends o get crowded. Great fish, visibility is good, but the input of fresh water from springs tends to fuzz up the visibility sometimes.
