The morning is filled with guided visits to some of the most majestic waterfalls on the Big Island. The views stop you in your tracks at the Waipio Valley lookout, where a dramatic backdrop of lush cliffs drops into the sparkling blue ocean. Continue riding along the Hamakua coast as more postcard-worthy views pass by your window before visiting Akaka Falls and the famous Rainbow Falls. Take a short walk through the rainforest for an up-close view and plenty of photo opportunities. In the afternoon, explore the wonders of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, including steam vents, the Halema’uma’u and Kilauea Iki crater lookouts, and take a short hike along crater rim trail. From here, relax and take it all in at Punalu’u Beach, a great place to spot marine life from the black-sand shore. On the leisurely drive back around sunset, you’ll see views of South Point, the southernmost point of the United States, and Kealakekua Bay. Finally, enjoy a visit to Kona Coffee Farm. Tyler was an awesome tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the hawaiian culture and his sharing of the beautiful proverbs, sayings and anecdotes of Hawaiian history and traditions are very enlightening. I would highly recommend this if this is your first time im Big Island and you want to see a lot of places in one day!

My 2 friends and I did this tour our last day of the trip and it was a great way to end a wonderful vacation. Our tour guide Derek arrived on time in an air conditioned, clean and comfortable vehicle. He was extremely helpful, sharing knowledge and history of the island that he's learned as a guide and also as a resident for many years. He was always sure to communicate the flow of the day or activity we were about to do, what to expect with the terrain and accompanied us on certain walls to point out things we would have otherwise missed. A great guide, adored by many vendors and locals on the tour route. We stayed on the right side of the island and it was great to have someone experienced get us and show us through the southern area and let side of the island. Great trip, would highly recommend.

Great for limited time.

On this tour you'll hit all the highlights. Good if that is what you want and have only limited time on island. Tour guide/driver was very informative. Lunch was very good. The island is big so time between locations can be long. 11 hours is a long time on a bus (all be it comfortable).
