Captains Kieran and Natalie were amazing! First up - goggles with prescriptions so I could see underwater! Second - life jackets for the kids. You could also rent wet suits. Captains took our shoes, ensured anything we wanted to stay “dry” was stowed and then took us out on the water. They explained safety features as we left. Stopped when we saw dolphins in the water, lots of amazing photos as they swam less than 5 feet from our boat. Had pool noodles, fins to assist with moving in the water. Snorkeled for about an hour then had water, juice and snacks before heading back. On our way back, we stopped by lava tubes, caves and learned about the rich history of Captain Cook, the island and sea. Captains were knowledgeable and great with all the kids on board. Our girls sat in the boat most of the time and were catered to and cared for well. Amazing company, easy to find, and great adventure. Highly recommend.
We did the small group Big Island: Captain Cook Sightseeing & Snorkel Expedition booked through GetYourGuide. Captain Lauren was amazing with not only her knowledge and humor but with her boat piloting skills were amazing. Soon-to-be captain Noah also played a huge part. My wife, son, and I loved it!
