Go on an invigorating hiking tour with guide Bruno Pfeuti. He will organize a top-class tour based on your wishes.
What to Expect
As a longtime member of the Swiss Alpine Club and a keen cyclist, Bruno Pfeuti knows the Swiss mountains and the most beautiful places to spend the night.
Depending on the route, you will need to be sure-footed and should not have a fear of heights. The distance of the ascent and descent will be mutually agreed upon. Guests in good to excellent fitness levels will get their fill of hiking. Cross majestic mountain passes and traverse the ridges. Summit climbs are even possible. You will also often be able to spot animals.
The most important hiking destinations in the region are the Arpelistock (3035 m), Augstmatthorn, Brienzer Rothorn, Faulhorn, Hohgant, Hohtürli, Lötschepass, Morgenberghorn, Sefinenfurke, Sigriswiler Rothorn and Wildgärst – beautiful names, for beautiful places. The most demanding tours are the day trips round the Wildstrubel, Wildhorn, or Muverans. From November to March, cross-country skiing tours in Kandersteg und Lötschental are possible. You can rent equipment (skis for classic diagonal stride skiing, shoes, and poles) on-site.
The panorama route from Interlaken over the Große Scheidegg (1962 m) is particularly special for cyclists, with its views of the notorious north face of the Eiger and Wetterhorn (main picture), the alpine pass route via Lombachalp, the Jaunpass, or the fantastic traverse to the Wallis, over the Col du Pillon and Col de la Croix.
After registration, a consultation will take place regarding options for extensions, grades of difficulty, meeting point and start time, overnight accommodations, deferral dates, or alternative programs in the event of precarious weather conditions. An equipment list (for cabin stays a sleeping bag liner is required), travel tips, and advice on maps round off the preparations.
For a third day for one-two people, an additional charge of 240 CHF cash should be paid after the start of the tour.
