Full description

Enjoy panoramic views of Berlin over breakfast from the famous TV Tower, which was built between 1965 and 1969. The tower is a landmark of unified Berlin, located in the middle of the city at Alexanderplatz. It is also one of the tallest towers in Europe, at 368 meters high. Skip the ticket line at the entrance and enter the tower with a fast-track entrance ticket. After a security check, take the high-speed elevator up through the tower to the revolving Sphere restaurant. While taking in views of the city, enjoy a delicious breakfast. You can choose between a tower or vegan breakfast option. After your breakfast, visit the viewing platform and take in panoramic views of the city. Tower breakfast: Reblochon de Savoie (French raw milk cheese), Salami Milano, San Michele core ham, Mortadella, smoked salmon, selected jam, honey, butter, coffee smoothie, fresh fruit, spelt and wholemeal bread, wheat rolls. Vegan breakfast: Avocado spread, avocado slices, tomatoes, pickled peppers, soy yogurt, chickpea cream, bulgur salad with peppers, jam, coffee smoothie, spelt and whole wheat bread. Both breakfast opens include a small jug of coffee or a hot drink of choice (children's ticket).

Please go directly to the entrance of the TV Tower and present your ticket to security control on the first floor. The steps leading up to the entrance are located on the tower's northern side, directly opposite Alexanderplatz S-Bahn station.

Going to the restaurant is well worth the money - I think I wouldn't have liked going to the TV Tower alone (as once you've been around once, there isn't much else to do), but seeing the view whilst eating is something else. The restaurant rotates, so you get a spectacular view of the whole of Berlin (along with descriptions of each point on the windows), and the food was great. I had a vegan breakfast, which was delicious. I imagine going to night would be amazing too (to see the city light up at night), but I loved going in the day. Great experience that I've already recommended to others.

It is well worth having breakfast in the revolving restaurant if you are planning to visit the observation deck anyway. Food was lovely and filling. View was interesting even in bad weather.
