Visit the Panorama, an artistic representation of what life was like in the shadow of the Berlin Wall. Experience Kreuzberg on a fictitious autumn day in the 1980s. With your day ticket, take in the scenes of everyday life. View the alternative life of SO 36 in West Berlin, separated from East Berlin and yet only a stone's throw away. See the so-called Death Strip and border facilities. From the visitor’s platform, experience how mundane, and yet how gruesome life was in the shadow of the Wall. The exhibition also features a documentary on the artist, Yadegar Asisi from his early ideas to the creation of the Panorama.

What an amazing experience! It really takes you back to the early 1980’s, how it looked from both sides and the noises that you can hear from the surrounding areas. Quite simply breathtaking especially as we were there straight after spending the morning at Checkpoint Charlie so it was even more poignant! Also if you came from the installation and walk straight down the road to the traffic lights, cross the road and you’ll see a remaining section of the original wall. Really worth seeing after the exhibition!
