- Tour the remains of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and Berlin’s old main train station
- Visit one of the few remaining WW2 air-raid shelters, filled beyond capacity during the Battle of Berlin
The Third Reich bike tour includes rides through parks and is conducted at a relaxing pace. You’ll cover around 8 miles in 4.5 hours, with stops every few hundred meters to take in the sites. It’s a comprehensive, but not a strenuous tour.
By the end of the excursion you’ll have a better understanding of the circumstances that allowed Hitler to achieve power in the time leading up to the second world war. Hear about Germany in the aftermath of World War I, Hitler’s rise and fall, and the building of the Berlin Wall.
See the impact the Third Reich and WWII still have on Berlin, specifically by exploring the remnants of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and Berlin’s old main train station.
