Berlin by Segway: float through the multifaceted center of Germany's capital and experience its history, modernity, political power, and fresh cultural scene. Get to know Berlin from an entirely new perspective; you'll be amazed!
What to Expect
Small-group Segway tours are something truly unique. Not only are Segways fun to drive, they also give you the chance to experience both the old and new from an entirely new perspective.
After a personal introduction on how to handle the Segway, your guide will escort you to the highlights of your selected tour. Your safety is very important: all Segways are approved by the German Technical Inspection Association (TÜV). An audio receiver is mounted on each Segway, allowing you both to hear your guide and receive early warnings of any potential dangers, such as road obstacles.
The 2-hour tour includes the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Chancellery, Berlin Central Station, Unter den Linden, Bebelplatz, Gendarmenmarkt, Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz, and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.
In addition to the sights included in the 2-hour tour, the 3-hour tour also covers the House of the Cultures of the World, the Victory Column, Castle Bellevue, Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral, The New Synagogue, Art House Tacheles, Hackesche Höfe, Alexanderplatz, the TV Tower, Rotes Rathaus, and the Nikolai District.
