What to Expect
Experience an incredible 4-5 hour bicycle tour through stately Potsdam and cruise around the most famous sights. From the stately mansions of the Gründerzeit, where Churchill, Truman, and Stalin once met, head to the Glienicke Bridge. From there, admire the most beautiful views of Babelsberg Palace and the Church of the Redeemer, Sacrow. On the banks of the Havel, continue on to Cecilienhof Palace and the Marble Palace in the New Garden. Ride through the Forbidden City to Belvedere on the Pfingstberg, with its amazing views of Berlin in the distance.
Head towards the Russian colony Alexandrowka, a replica of a Cossack village for the soldier’s choir of a Prussian king. Take a short break here before continuing on to Sanssouci Palace, one of the highlights of the tour. Hear some of the many stories about Frederick the Great here.
Sanssouci Park offers further highlights, such as the New Palace, the Dragon House, Charlottenhof Palace, and the Orangery Palace. Explore the old town with 3 city gates, the Dutch Quarter, St. Nicholas’ Church, and the new construction of the palace.
