Berlin: Sights and Highlights Bike Tour with a Local Guide

I took this bike tour with my 11 year old son on our first trip to Berlin and it was by far the best activity we did. Our tour guide Mat was brilliant, he was very knowledgeable about the sights and history of the city as you'd expect, but also shared his own personal experiences of moving to Berlin from Serbia as a young boy. He was warm, friendly, enthusiastic and encouraged questions to get the most out of the experience. The tour lasted around 3 hours with plenty of stops to see the sights, hear about the history and to take photos. Travelling by bike is the perfect way to explore Berlin with bike lanes on roads and pavements and also the city is very flat! My son and I hired bikes the next day and received a discount because we'd taken a tour. There are loads of bike sizes to choose from plus a bike lock and optional helmet. The group tour gave us an overview of the city and confidence to go it alone. Not too fast, highly recommend.

It was a very interesting tour, learned a lot about Berlin and its history. The guide was well informed and answered all our questions.
