Enjoy a walk to touch all the most important phases of Berlin history, from the origins to today: how did a sandy land turn from a fishing village, to an Empire, to dictatorships, to the unique city of today?
What to Expect
Berlin has an exciting history. In this tour you will touch all the main parts of it. Start from the Brandenburger Tor, one of the symbols of the City, pause to learn about to the Parliament building and move towards the Holocaust Memorial and stop for a moment to think about what it all meant.
Potsdamer Platz will be next, with all its magnificent contemporary architecture jewels, and you will understand what is behind its concept and how it tries to bring back, with a new face, what the old and destroyed Potsdamer Platz used to be. After moving along the Berlin Wall path, having seen some of the rest of it, and having seen some rests of the Third Reich time, you will dig into what is left of the beautiful historical city center to discover the royal footprints, with its magnificent Gendarmenmarkt square, Bebelplatz with the Book Burning Memorial, the Museum Island, the Berliner Dom and much more.
