Full description

Immerse yourself in an exciting journey through time into Berlin's moving and not so distant past. Begin in the centrally located Nikolaiviertel, just 5 minutes on foot from the TV Tower.

Start your tour where Berlin's history first began. Jump on the bike of your choice and for 15 kilometers, listen to fascinating facts and lesser-known stories about historical sites from the Nazi era and the Cold War.

Be led to remote corners, predominantly down side streets and bike paths, and give you the inside story. See what life was like in the once divided city and find out why it is no longer possible to access Hitler's bunker ("Führerbunker").

Follow the outline of where the wall once stood, and see former ghost stations, old bunkers, and huge buildings with eventful histories.

You get the opportunity to see parts of Berlin that you typically don't want to see. Places that tell the unique stories about, for example, the persecution of the Jews. At the same time, you can ask all the questions you want, both about historical but also cultural questions or where there is a good place to eat. I recommend taking the tour at the beginning of your trip. You will be introduced to some places that you might want to visit again later, where you have more time to go in depth yourself. It is not the great history lesson with deep professionalism, but it is sufficient and entertaining.

Lots of information during a relaxed tour through Berlin. Much emphasis is placed on the issues surrounding the Wall. The Third Reich is a little less discussed, but you can visit these kinds of museums freely. The guide takes time for questions and takes everyone in the group into account.

It would probably be the best museum in Berlin if the staff was a bit more polite and helpful. The stuff threw you out of the museum at 18:50 even thought the closing time is 19:00 and If you ask for just one last minute to read the final paragraph of the whole exhibition they will still insist you to live. So for us the staff was a problem but the exhibition was amazing.
