Full description
Immerse yourself in an exciting journey through time into Berlin's moving and not so distant past. The tour begins in the centrally-located Nikolaiviertel, just 5 minutes on foot from the TV Tower. Start your tour where Berlin's history first began. Jump on the bike of your choice and for 15 kilometers, listen to fascinating facts and lesser-known stories about historical sites from the Nazi era and the Cold War. Knowledgeable and entertaining guides will lead you to remote corners, predominantly down side streets and bike paths, and give you the inside story. See what life was like in the once divided city and find out why it is no longer possible to access Hitler's bunker ("Führerbunker"). Follow the outline of where the wall once stood, and see former ghost stations, old bunkers, and huge buildings with eventful histories.

Great tour with guide Peter, who told a lot of personally experienced stories. And with the typical Berlin charm. We saw many interesting places and learned the history of the Berlin Wall. All this on a relaxed bike tour without physical exertion. Happiness with the weather was added. In a word: successful! Definitely recommendable!

Guide was excellent, tour was very interesting!

Dominick made the tour very engaging, and it felt like we were seeing Berlin from a Berliner’s point of view. He connected the very serious subject matter to the people who lived it, which was a lovely approach. The human experience of Berlin’s history was made central to the tour. Very interesting, and the bike was a great way to see Berlin.

Great tour. I booked a private tour of 4. Our guide made sure we were safe and comfortable- since this was the rainiest day of our 10 day trip. Bjorn, our guide was shared his knowledge of Germany and Berlin and was helpful to put historian value into our tour. Despite the rain, we still covered a lot of ground and still had time to savor a drink on the way.
