My sister and I have never been on a tour or in any of the camps related to the holocust and so were not really sure what to expect. Matias was friendly and welcoming from the very beginning to the very end, making sure that we knew the route in which we were traveling and took every opportunity to explain some of the historical facts before we arrived at the camp. He handled the topic in the most respectful way possible, while still making sure to highlight the sheer brutality of the events that took place. It was interesting to hear some of his own personal opinions here and there, while still obtaining quite an objective view overall. At the end of every section of the tour he made sure to ask if we had any questions, doubt or queries, although we didn't feel the need as he rounded the history of this horrid place must efficiently. We would recommend him to anyone willing to listen and learn.
Peter is an amazing tour guide, we went on the sachsenhausen tour as a family of 7 and learnt so much. Peter was informative and presented the tour so well, sometime at tours they can be long, repetitive and can become quite “boring” but Peter had our full attention the whole time and was interactive with the whole group. Although the camp was obviously very sad and eerie we truly felt like it was a valuable experience and would recommend to anyone. The transport there was easy, the instructions about the meeting point was easy and Peter even made sure we found our way back into Berlin fine. Highly recommend this experience, thank you :)
