Full description
Start this private 3-hour food and street art tour of Berlin’s Kreuzberg district with panoramic views of the city from the Oberbaum Bridge, from where the last remains of the Berlin Wall can be seen. Then, head into the heart of Kreuzberg to sample a Berlin all-time favorite of hearty currywurst at a local currywurst spot. Wander the streets of Wrangelkiez, full of charming spätis (convenience stores) and small grocery stores. Soak up the aroma of a typical Turkish spice shop and nibble on some freshly roasted nuts, dried fruits, or - for those that dare - authentic Berlin rollmops. Delight in a unique sampling of locally brewed beer from one of Berlin’s first craft beer bars and dive with us into the wonders of Markthalle Neun. Built in the 1890s to ensure that Berliners had access to fresh produce, this beautiful market hall has evolved to be at the heart of Berlin’s street food scene and appeals to locals for its array of exquisite delicacies on offer from far and wide. Throughout the tour, you’ll pass countless street murals, tags and bombings, including some pieces by famous artists, such as Blu's “Leviathan” or the wicked animals of ROA. And for those who want to dive into Berlin's nightlife at the end, you're in the right area! Your guide will point you in the direction of some of Berlin’s best club and bar venues.

This "food" tour of over 3 hours offers very little to taste. We had to make do with 1 curry sausage with a bottle of beer, a few Turkish nuts and a glass of beer. For the price we paid for this we expected a bit more. Petra, our guide, found this embarrassingly little, but could not help it. She did tell a lot about the Kreuzberg district. She did this very well.

The guide was very nice but this Tour is not actually a food tour. We tasted one sausage, had a beer and one Turkish candy. Overall we spend too much time on each place And I didn’t feel we saw enough of the neighborhood for three hours.
