Collections include Dada Berlin, New Objectivity, Eastern European avant-garde as well as the art of divided and reunified Berlin. Wir besuchen viele Ausstellungen in Deutschland und der Schweiz und finden selten so viel Sorgfalt bei den begleitenden Texten, auch Verständlichkeit; sodann schätzen wir als Gehbehinderte die reichlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Dieses Museum ist auf allen Stufen, von Kunst bis Komfort, optimal.

It is a very interesting museum. The permanent exhibition is very comprehensive with very exciting works and the new exhibitions are always very interesting. They also have a bookstore with very special volumes and you can always find good deals.

Unfortunately, it took a very long time at the cloakroom. You bought a ticket in advance and then stood in line at the cloakroom with your coats. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, there are not enough lockers, so everything gets backed up. Attention: Every bag, no matter how small, we said, must also be handed in. So queue again at the cloakroom, because we were only told this when we entered. As at the end again: queuing at the cloakroom. :-( You would have liked to have had this much time for the great exhibition!
