We used the trams, subway, etc. They were all on time and clean and effortless. We totally depended on and enjoyed the public transportation. Made our first visit even better. We were told to print our voucher yet could not find anywhere to scan it. We had our paper vouchers in hand though.

Know before you go

  • Only the person whose name is shown on the voucher can redeem it. An ID document is required
  • Up to 3 children between the ages of 6 and 14 can travel free on their parents’ ticket or when accompanying an adult. Accompanied children under 6 years travel free
  • Berlin fare zones A, B, and C for which you will need an appropriate travel ticket to use the transport service (bus & rail, tram). Zone A comprises the inner city of Berlin up to and including the S-Bahn Ring. Zone B is located outside the S-Bahn Ring up to the city limits. Zone C is the area around Berlin

It’s good in order to do not have to think about tickets for transportation: you do it one time and that’s all. For the discounts at attractions I think it’s not too useful since using this you cannot book your presence at places online, you need to do the queue every time to have the discounts, personally I never used it for discounts.
