I had bought the berlin ticket and I wasn't quite sure how I would get discounts on other activities with it. A visit to the shop, because I still had to/wanted to get the book anyway - and everything was clear. The only small downside: the book needs updating. But you can live with that.

You should definitely use the WelcomeCard. Traveling by underground and S-Bahn with this card is perfect, no stress to get from A to B. Visited many museums with the WelcomeCard and used the discount on admission prices. Will definitely come back to Berlin soon, as there is still a lot to discover.

To travel freely in the most common zones of Berlin, I have already booked the Berlin WelcomeCard at home for zones A and B. In addition, you will receive a discount on many 'entrances'. If it is only about free travel, you can also buy a public transport day ticket cheaply (7 euros per day).
