Fantastic time visiting all of the key places of the Third Reich, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful when answering questions. He allowed time for pictures to be taken, and gave time to stop at each place to inform us of the history of each location.

Marco was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The tour was very interesting and had a nice duration. Every point of the tour was walking distanc. As well, it was enough time to learn a lot about a certain time period and not turning to be overwhelming. I got to discover sights of Berlin that I didn't realise played a role in the past, and left with new knowledge. Thank you Marco for the fantastic tour!

Full description

Start at Berlin's most famous landmark - the Brandenburg Gate, which was used for propaganda marches in the time of National Socialism. From there, walk to the nearby Reichstag — at present, the seat of the Germany Parliament — where the Nazi Party NSDAP and Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933. You then reach the inner-city park of Tiergarten to see soviet T-34 tanks and artillery from World War II at the Soviet War Memorial. Visit the Holocaust Memorial, the memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe. Discover the place where the bunker and the New Reich Chancellery of Adolf Hitler were located. Move on to discover the government district of Berlin at that time. At the Topography of Terror Documentation Center, learn about where the headquarters of the SS, the Secret State Police, the Reich Security Main Office, and the Reich Aviation Ministry were located during World War II. Throughout the tour, hear impressive stories about the German Resistance against the dictatorship.

This was one of the best tours we ever experienced. Our tour guide Carlos was very kind and really is an expert on the moving history of Berlin. He absolutely managed to not only give a lot of detailed inside but also inspired with the framing of the things he was talking about to make us think about our own position towards history. We definitely will book another tour with him when we are back! One more time, this was super inspiring and we learned so much and really got new perspectives on the Berlins past! Highly recommend.
