It was excellent, although it should probably tell visitors that the dome is closed for repair for 3 weeks. Even though the dome was closed, it was still good value. Excellent view, ambience and service at the rooftop .. obviously the view was not as far but still great view .. right height for Berlin as there at the rooftop at sunrise, you can see over most of the surrounding nearby area. Breakfast was a sumptuous and delicious German degustation breakfast. I would do it again. I definitely recommend it. I was visiting from Australia and was Berlin only for 2 days.

Wasn’t offered a choice of breakfast. Would have preferred a vegetarian option but wasn’t asked. But otherwise it was excellent.

Full description

Pre-book your reserved entry and breakfast at the Käfer restaurant to enjoy stunning views of Berlin the top of the Reichstag building, home to the German parliament. Experience the world’s only parliament building with a restaurant open to the public. 

Enter Germany’s parliament building and take your seat at a reserved table within the rooftop restaurant. Sit back and take in the views as you are served organic bread rolls, wholemeal bread, a danish pastry, and a croissant. 

Enjoy homemade jams and butter, a selection of cheeses and different cold cuts. 

Along with scrambled eggs from two organic eggs and fresh seasonal fruit salad, choose between one cup of coffee or tea for your beverage. After your meal, feel free to explore the inside of the glass dome (audio guides are available free of charge).
