The tour was divided into two groups, English and Spanish. I speak both languages and could benefit from both excellent, patient and passionate guides, Walid and Solange. Personally, I enjoyed the tour with them, even though it must be hard or boring to those not speaking the other language they chose. Anyway, I was lucky! Lots of interesting information that gave good context to what we were seeing. I really recommend them.

Full description

Jonas, the guide, was excellent and his comprehensive knowledge about both the concentration camp and the town of Potsdam made it a very worthwhile day. Being guided around the camp was so much better than a self guided tour and Jonas was able to use his understanding of the historical and societal background to bring out important key points about the structure and organisation of the camp. Likewise with Sans Souci and Potsdam. A very worthwhile day which did much to increase my own knowledge of such a difficult subject.
