Cool off with a ticket to Icebar Berlin and chill out with complimentary drinks in glasses that made out of ice. Feel like a explorer as you take part in a Polar Expedition with your Seaman's Book. Be surrounded by 69,000 kilos of ice and stay warm with provided winter clothing.

Meet your fellow crew members for a drink in the tavern before the captain rings the ship’s bell to board the Hansa. Assistants will make sure you are properly dressed for the freezing experience to come, as King Wilhelm I and Chancellor Bismarck see you off on your journey to the east coast of Greenland. When you enter the bar, you’ll receive a Seaman's Book, or Seefahrtsbuch, before you can take part in the Polar Expedition. The Seaman's Book documents you as a crew member of the Hansa. It also documents the drinks you have consumed, so be sure to have it stamped when you order your included drinks. In total you will have one drink in the tavern and two in the Icebar. Enjoy the ambient light and ice sculptures of the Icebar and test yourself how long you can last in the cold.

It wasn't bad but I don't have to have it again. In the Eisbär unfortunately only 2 beers instead of what is otherwise only shots on the menu. Unfortunately, there is nothing without alcohol in the Eisbär either, which is a pity for my companion. So the 2 drinks in the ice bar were for nothing.

A great, unusual idea in the middle of Berlin. The team was amazing - attentive, friendly and funny. The length of stay right in the Icebar is perfectly calculated - you can look at everything in peace and enjoy your drinks, but at the end you're glad to be back in the warmth. All round - keep it up!

It was a real highlight! We were 11 people and everyone enjoyed it. It would have just been great to know that the first drink (outside the ICE bar) doesn't count towards the booked time. We had booked for 7 p.m. and were only there 10 minutes earlier, so that we could only have entered the ICE bar at 7 p.m. on time without the first drink. We then used the entrance at 7.30 p.m. and enjoyed our cocktail in peace beforehand. Everything was still great, it's just important to know if you're planning/booking other things afterwards
