I really enjoyed this museum. I would recommend purchasing tickets individually as the museum pass can be really difficult when you get to the door and they need to scan it. The staff were quite rude not here but at other museums in museum island and it was just so much easier having an individual ticket.

A checker at the entrance first told us that the vouchers had to be replaced with tickets and sent us to Alexander plaze. After an hour and more of laps in the sun we managed to get in because another spoke Italian and understood. But they let us in as a concession because the tickets could not read them, their machines read only barcodes. After more than an hour we entered the beautiful museum, but nothing more than skip the queue, which wasn't even there !!!

In the end, all was well, but a little nerve-wracking

I booked at the last minute - the day before - and only after booking did I get the message that I would receive the tickets "in 48 hours", but that would have been too late! In he end, the tickets arrived just before I left for the museum. I also was unable to reach anyone to get help. However, as I said, it turned out fine.
