The natural preserve island was amazing and worth the trip! About 40 minutes offshore from Peniche, choose a fair day, some folks got seasick on the way out but staff were prepared and offered barf bags…. Steep and narrow trails, guide available, if you opt for the “cave tour” on the glass bottom boat be sure it’s low tide or they may not actually take you in the caves (I was somewhat disappointed with this part) but they make safety a priority and I like that! Well worth it! Go

The island is so beautiful! The hike down was extremely difficult for a shorter person. I highly recommend this tour, but be prepared. The boat ride over was fun, and a bit rough. The glass bottom (additional price) was worth it.

Great! Glad we went on the glass bottom boat at the island. Also getting off at the fort and the hike back worked out nicely. The the hosts were great, making the trip even better. Thanks again!

- Superb island - Friendly team - Glass bottom boat: salesman but useless.... - specify the impact of high/low tide on the visit

The island was beautiful and so fun to explore. I was so glad I ended up adding the glass bottom boat tour also.
