Worth it. Booked through GYG and received all activity tickets and instructions from the tour company within 24 hours. The instructions were clear, concise, and very helpful when transferring between activities. I’d add that you should get in line for each 30 minutes ahead of departure for the Fjord Cruise and Flåm Railway as these were at capacity. There are plenty of food options at every stop and all places accepted cards/tap-to-pay. I’d still recommend taking some snacks and water. Only hiccup was the WiFi did not work on the train back to Oslo and limited data with the number of tunnels, so recommend downloading activities in advance. The tour group also recommended a porter service to handle luggage pickup/dropoff between Bergen and Oslo which I would not even have considered. Made it so easy and hassle free. I just had to leave bag at hotel desk early on the day of departure. They send email confirmations throughout the day. Definitely recommend using their preferred provider

With UNESCO-listed fjords and snow-capped mountain ranges that stretch around the country, Norway offers a land of alluring landscapes to tempt any traveler. The best way to see it is by train, bus, and boat, throughout a hassle-free day tour. Hop aboard to discover the countryside that frames the Bergen and Flåm railways, and admire Aurlandsfjord, Nærøyfjord, the village of Flåm, and more. Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway. The municipality covers 465 square kilometers, and sits on the peninsula of Bergenshalvøyen. The city center and northern neighborhoods are on Byfjorden, "the city fjord", and the city is surrounded by mountains. Bergen is also known as the "city of seven mountains". The Flåm Railway is one of the world's steepest railways. It is 20 kilometers long, with a descent of 865 meters and a gradient of one in 18. It also consists of 20 tunnels with a total length of 6 kilometers - evidence of the most daring and skillful engineering in the history of Norwegian railways.

The fjord cruise was incredible. Small town stops were also really charming. Make sure to pack lots of food/snacks because there aren’t many shops on route except for expensive tourism stops. There’s a grocery store in the Voss train station with reasonable prices. Tickets and clear instructions were all sent to me the day before my trip. It was very easy to follow along! Yes it would be cheaper to book the individual trips yourself, but not worth the effort and confusion. The folks here do it all for you! One of the trains had track works so they booked an alternative bus option. That would be so hard to do on my own had I not booked with get your guide. By the way I recommend bringing a book because the last train ride back to Oslo is quite long.
