This was a fun easy excursion from Salzburg. The salt mine tour guide only spoke German. We were given audio devices to hear the tour in English. I could tell we were missing a lot by not understanding the live tour guide. The tour included a mine train and two slides as well as a funicular. At the end of the tour we were taken to Berchtesgaden for lunch. The round trip took a little more than 5 hours. My only complaint is that the GetYourGuide directions to the meeting point were wrong. We luckily figured it out before we missed the bus. I am sure GetYourGuide would blame the tour company and visa versa. My point is that someone needs to own the problem and correct it. The directions in app need to be accurate.

Salt mine tour was very fun and interesting. Great for kids and families. Ride to the mine was beautiful and we also had a nice time in Berchtesgaden and enjoyed a fantastic Bavarian meal at the restaurant the guide recommended. Our Sound of Music tour was definitely the highlight and David did an amazing job. He always kept us engaged, made us laugh and made the whole tour so fun and interesting. All the facts and singing and sightseeing made this a very memorable tour and one that I would highly recommend!

My daughter and I took this trip in late October, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was funny and knowledgable, and made the day very enjoyable. The Eagles Nest, Berchtesgaden, Salt Mines and Konigssee are all fantastic and I would recommend to anyone.

Amazing piece of history in an even More amazing setting. While it was a long day had plenty of time at each location. The views from the Eagles Nest were so incredible and the bus ride and guide very good. I can highly recommend.

Great experience made all the better by our great guide, Walter.
