The ticket was not impressed -neither available on line, even WITHOUT IT .. the AMAZING MUSEUM’s ADMINISTRATORS and SECURITY STAFF trusted my words and the voucher. The museum is one OUTSTANDING- into the word’s full scope - such a wonderful ( positive ) surprise - VERY GREEK at its best - a place that DESERVES every tourist’s & every Greek citizen’s visit. The collection encompasses Greek History ( focusing on social trends ) - since pre-historic Eras ( Cycladic /Mycenaean/ Minoan ) passing thru the Classics until the present day heritage, lightened by VERY relevant and refined masterworks. The museum shop displays a multitude of interesting souvenirs. Highly recommended place for those who really wanted to perceive “ Greek” social history as a whole.

The tour was great definitely the best way to see the main sights in Athens when you have a limited amount of time were we on shore from a cruise ship. Our guide was excellent gave us lots of history and interesting info about the city. He was very accommodating with my elderly mum who was travelling with us which I really appreciated. There were 5 of us 3 adults & 2 kids and we all enjoyed it. so nice to travel in an airconditioned van when 28 degrees outside and not a large coach full of people. Would definitely recommend thank you.

We found all the exhibits stunning. I was particularly interested in the jewellery and was amazed by the variety of exhibits and detail and skills of the early craftsmen BC. One of the best museums I have been to, and I have been to many museums in Europe and Central Asia. Only downside was the English descriptions were hard to read in the low lighting. We would have preferred bold text.

Another perspective of Greece, seeing the illuminated attraction centres is truly spectacular. * bring headphones with a plug in so you can listen to the audio guide

Very nice tour and very polite staff Totally worth it!
