Full description

At the chosen time we'll meet at the San Francisco de Portimão dock and board a boat to sail off on our sunset cruise.

We'll spend 1 hour and half sailing the Atlantic Ocean as we head towards the famous Benagil Cave, one of the most fascinating places in this part of southern Portugal. Get your cameras ready!

As night begins to fall, we'll marvel at a breathtaking sunset over the magnificent landscape. We'll also get to admire the Alfanzina Lighthouse as we approach Benagil Beach, one of the most special places on the Algarve coast.

Allocation of reserves is automatic. If you make individual reservations but are part of a group, let us know which reservations belong to your group.

Meeting point

Meet in front of the San Francisco Convent Ruins on the riverside. When arriving, you will have the Commercial Port of Portimao on your right. Go straight ahead on the dirt road. At the end of this road, you will find the meeting point.

  • -Purposely and improperly bursting lifejackets will incur an additional cost of €70 per life jacket, paid at the boarding point

  • -Participants are not allowed to get out of the boat within the caves
  • -Showcasing the wonders of our coast is a mission that we take very seriously. The state of the sea may not allow boats to enter the caves safely. This is an assessment that is up to our experienced skippers and maritime authorities. Whenever this is not possible, our tour will maintain its charm, with an increased effort from our skippers to uncover the secrets of the Algarve coast.
  • -Sightings of dolphins cannot be guaranteed
  • -French and English tours will be monolingual whilst Spanish and Portuguese tours will be bilingual

Unforgettable Sunset Tour of the Benagil Caves This boat tour to the Benagil Caves was an incredible experience, made even more special by the golden evening light and stunning sunset views.
