Get geared up, listen to a quick briefing on what to do and not to do to ensure the day is fun-filled and safe. Embark on a cruise to the Belize Barrier Reef. Hop in the water to look for wildlife like turtles where the world’s largest population of West Indian manatees live. See corals that have been protected for over 30 years at the Hol Chan marine reserve. Feel the thrill of diving with sharks in the Ray Alley. Stop for lunch onboard at 12:00 PM. After that, take the chance to explore an amazing shipwreck, coral gardens, and more turtles. The tour ends at 3:00 PM with two bonus sightseeing stops to see seahorses.

Meet at the beachfront near The San Pedro Holiday Hotel in the morning at 8am, look for one of our Team Members in our Yellow Ridge and Reef Adventures Shirt who will give you instructions and get you checked in for your adventure. Get geared up and depart for Hol Chan Marine Reserve. After a refreshing boat ride, arrive at the Marine Park. Enjoy 45 minutes to an hour to snorkel and explore this vibrant underwater world teeming with flora and fauna. Then, cruise to Shark and Ray Alley. Test your nerves and swim with nurse sharks that range between 3 and 12 feet in length. Keep an eye out for a variety of species, such as horse-eyed jacks, snappers, and much more. This experience lasts anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on you. Hop aboard once again and make your way to Coral Gardens. Snorkel above vast and breathtaking coral formations that serve as a home to many species of fish, including loggerhead turtles. Continue to the North Channel, near Caye Caulker. Here, catch a glimpse of manatees, eels, nurse sharks, and other beautiful flora and fauna. Snorkel for about 30 to 45 minutes. If you are unable to see manatees here, you will be guided to another location in search of these gentle giants.  Make a stop on the leeward side of Caye Caulker to feed large but gentle fish called tarpons or silver giants. Visit a sea horse sanctuary to look for these small but beautiful sea creatures. Stop at a local restaurant in the afternoon and savor a warm Belizean lunch. Then, enjoy free time to explore the village at your own pace. Visit the split caused by Hurricane Hatti, one of the strongest hurricanes of 1961. Depart Caye Caulker in the late afternoon for a return transfer to San Pedro.

Depart from San Ignacio, it is almost a 45-minute van ride to the Park Reserve. On arrival, participants are broken up into small groups with 6 participants to a guide. The guide starts with an overall explanation of the day's proceedings and assists everybody with adjusting the safety gear; we then head to the starting point. This would be the first of 3 river crossings, this being the deepest point, there is a rope bank across the river to assist with a safe river crossing. In the other crossings, the water level is fairly shallow, ankle-deep. After a 45-minute hike, we arrive at the mouth of the cave; with the guide swimming across to the ledge for a safety demonstration. Make your way into the cave, swimming and then walking through the main water passage until you reach the boulder and head to the dry chamber. To enter the chamber, you will be required to slip off your shoes to protect the cave as artifacts are lying on the cave floor. Marvel at the cave's artifacts, most of which have been calcified into the ground, unmoved even by archaeologists. Learn about the rituals and ceremonies, bloodletting offerings, food offerings, and human offerings, including the 15 human remains uncovered by archaeologists. To access the last chamber, you will climb a ladder to see full skeletal remains before exiting the cave in the same way you came in. You will hike back to the parking lot before replenishing yourself with lunch and returning to San Ignacio.

We meet at 12 noon and the shuttle departs at 12.30 pm. Drop off at your accommodation in San Ignacio town.

We start our hassle-free shuttle from our office, located at #43 Burns Avenue, unit 2 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/cYMZJfb78JfWw6vf8) or we can pick you up at your hotel/AirBnB situated within San Ignacio town. A 20-minute drive will take us to Western Border/ Guatemala. Border crossing can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the number of people crossing on the day. Once you are through with Customs/Immigration on the Belize side, our driver will accompany you mid-point between both borders, and a handover process will happen with our Guatemalan operator, who will take over from here. As per Guatemalan regulations, a Guatemalan operator carries out all these services. The tour company we work with has been with us for several years and is highly professional and experienced. Once we do the border crossing enjoy you scenic shuttle to the Island of Flores Peten which will take us two hours. Drop off in front of the I Love Peten sign.

. Transfer from Flores Guatemala to Caye Caulker Belize includes Bus Service and ferry Service . We board at 6:00 in Flores . Immigration forms will be issued to enter Belize . Tickets will be given for the ferry that will transport us from Belize City to Caye Caulker or San Pedro Amberguis . Information on the mechanism of the trip will be given . We drove for two hours to get to the Guatemalan border with Belize . At the border, it is necessary to get off the bus for immigration procedures . Immigration and Customs procedures are personal as well as baggage handling . If any Passenger has any problem with Immigration, a waiting time of 20 minutes will be given. . We boarded the bus again and continued for approximately two and a half hours to get to Belize City, specifically to San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi . At San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi we check our Ferry tickets and get our boarding pass . We board the Ferry at the nearest exit, the journey is approximately 50 minutes to reach our destination Caye Caulker and for San Pedro Amberguis an hour and a half . The Driver It will give information about the Immigration and Customs procedures as well as when arriving in San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi in Belize City. NOTE. Depart from the port and travel for 15 to 20 minutes to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Get a briefing and get ready to snorkel. Hop into the water and see hundreds of species of fish, turtles, rays, and pristine coral formations and maybe even a Manatee. You will enjoy this location for up to 1 hour before getting back on board the boat. Next, head to Shark and Ray Alley, located about 15 minutes away. Get another briefing and dive into the water. Swim with friendly nurse sharks and be surrounded by schools of fish and southern stingrays in their natural habitat. You Will Enjoy this location for 30 minutes to an hour. We oftentimes make a third stop before making your way back to the port.

Start your tour with hotel pickup from San Ignacio, then take a 15-minute drive to Xunantunich. First, embark on a 2-hour guided tour of the Xunantunich archaeological site, which was a unique Mayan ceremonial center. Discover the 6 major plazas surrounded by more than 25 temples and palaces with time to climb the different structures. Admire the large El Castillo Pyramid which is well known for the frieze or band of stucco decoration which at one time extended around the entire temple. El Castillo rises 130 feet above the main plaza and offers an impressive panoramic view over the Mopan River valley.  After this, combine your visit with a range of optional activities to choose from. Cave Tubing:  Start your adventure at No'och Che'en National Park with a hike through the subtropical forest. As you sit and enjoy the tubing downstream, the journey will take you through a series of remarkable limestone caves, each filled with fascinating discoveries of the Mayan underworld. You can also jump into refreshing crystal-clear blue waters formed in-between the cave entrances. Float through some rapids, view sparkling cave formations, and learn about cave geology and Mayan History. River Tubing:  This adventure takes place along the Mopan River - a very important water source for the ancient city of Xunantunich. Start by clipping on your helmet and putting on your floating device. Then, jump into your tube and begin floating downstream on the easy flowing water. Just as you get comfortable, feel the adrenaline as you reach some class I rapids. After floating past the village, continue into a jungle area and admire the incredible native flora and fauna that Belize has to offer. Horseback Riding:  Alternatively, begin your experience on the outskirts of Succotz village. Ride a friendly horse along an ancient Mayan trail as you dodge low-hanging tree branches. If you are lucky, try to spot adorable Howler Monkeys jumping between the trees.
