The quality of knowledge of the guide and his easy way of delivering the information was clearly the highlight of the trip, we all know so much more about the history of Ireland. We met the bus in Belfast which was nothing more than a pickup point, which was as fine but we were looking for the Finn McCool store front which did not exist, so a quick mention about the pick up would have been helpful.

Quiggs and Noshad were brilliant, friendly and full of Irish humour and charm. I absolutely loved hearing Quiggs fountain of knowledge on all things Ireland. Overall a fantastic day out! Great value for money, and Quiggs and Noshad did an excellent job at doing a pre tour rain dance as the weather was stunning! Amazing views all around. I’ve truly fallen in love with Ireland thanks to this lovely duo

Full description

Start your day with a brief but captivating photo stop at Dunluce Castle. Perched on a dramatic cliff edge overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean, the ruins of this medieval castle provide a stunning backdrop for photos. Dating back to the 13th century, Dunluce Castle is rich in history and legend, offering a glimpse into the past with its picturesque and somewhat eerie presence. Capture the beauty of this iconic site before continuing your journey.

Next, travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Giant's Causeway. Famous for its unique hexagonal basalt columns formed by ancient volcanic activity, this natural wonder is both geologically fascinating and steeped in mythology. According to legend, the causeway was built by the giant Finn McCool. Walk along the distinctive stones and explore the rugged coastal scenery. Enjoy the opportunity to immerse yourself in one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic landscapes, taking in the natural beauty and dramatic views of the coastline.

After leaving the Giant's Causeway, travel to the Portaneevy Viewpoint for another fantastic photo opportunity. This viewpoint offers panoramic views of the rugged Northern Irish coastline, including a spectacular view of the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Rathlin Island. The dramatic scenery makes it a prime spot for capturing the wild beauty of the area.

Continue your tour with a visit to the enchanting Dark Hedges. This iconic avenue of beech trees, planted in the 18th century by the Stuart family, has gained international fame, especially after featuring in "Game of Thrones." The intertwined branches and the dappled light create a mystical atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely walk and captivating photographs. The Dark Hedges offer a glimpse into the natural beauty and historical charm of Northern Ireland.

Conclude your tour with a visit to the Titanic Belfast Visitor Experience, situated in the heart of Belfast. This award-winning attraction is housed in a striking building that symbolizes the city’s maritime heritage. The experience takes you through the story of the Titanic, from its conception and construction in Belfast to its tragic maiden voyage and its legacy. With interactive exhibits, full-scale reconstructions, and state-of-the-art displays, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the Titanic’s history. This visit not only highlights the ship’s story but also offers insights into Belfast’s rich industrial past.

This day tour from Belfast provides a diverse and enriching experience, combining historical sites, natural wonders, and cultural heritage. From the dramatic ruins of Dunluce Castle and the unique formations of the Giant's Causeway to the stunning coastal views at Portaneevy, the enchanting atmosphere of the Dark Hedges, and the immersive Titanic Belfast Visitor Experience, this tour showcases the best of Northern Ireland’s beauty and history.
