Ticket did not deliver what it promised.
We purchased a fast track, skip the line ticket online. However, the admission process gave us no advantage over those who needed to buy tickets. The lines, those with tickets and those without tickets, alternated. We waited a long time wow people without tickets were admitted. Our skip the line tickets should have given us and advantage. Those who were buying tickets should have returned to take their place in our line. Rather, they had immediate access upon purchase of their tickets at the tower ticket window.
Definitely book on line to ensure that you gain quicker entry . On arrival make sure you get in the correct queue. We still had around about 15minutes to wait due to number restrictions because of the virus. Not a great deal to see inside but the views are worth the entry .
Beautiful views and interesting history, but be ready to wait in line anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour even with a prepurchased ticket.
Fun site with nice views of the Tagus as it spills into the Atlantic. Doesn't take more than an hour or two to explore.
