One of the most beautiful places I visited ! The day of the visit it was closed due to bad weather but next day we finally got to visit it and it was so worth the wait! Beautiful structure , gorgeous views of all sides of the river, gorgeous pictures ! Very recommended , they are well organized , the whole area is perfect ! Everything is walking distance from each other which is perfect! Super recommended

It was lovely experience overall. From the time they picked us up in our hotel, then to the activities. Interesting indeed. Because it is not summer time, a bit cold and wind. Although we were advised about the proper attire. Next time bring a coat too. The hiking was enjoyable. Would highly recommend this activity. Thank you x

Know before you go

  • Admission is free at National Museums and Monuments on Sundays and holidays for residents of Portugal
  • The Belém Tower opening hours are: Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  •  Last admission at 5:30 PM
  • The tower is closed on Mondays, and January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, June 13, and December 25
  • There is only one entrance to go inside the tower and there might be lines
  • You will receive a PDF voucher in the booking confirmation email. This voucher needs to be presented at the entrance of the Monastery
