great trip to the great wall. ride went very smoothly and pick up was easy. zhang fan drove us to the wall and then walked with us to the start point, which was super helpful. the wall itself is amazing and there was hardly anyone else there. we went in july and it was pretty temperate, maybe 25 degrees, so definitely manageable. there are some vendors selling snacks on the wall but would recommend bringing your own lunch if you want a proper meal. the walk was steep in some parts but not too bad overall. highly recommend this tour!!!
Amazing daytrip to the Jinshanling-part of the Great Wall! We chose this part of the Great Wall because it’s les crowded (only 5% of tourist). So unlimited pictures without other people ✌🏻 Our guide, Cheney, was very positive energetic and warm-hearted. He took care of us the best he could, he even brought extra bananas, Oreo’s and snickers! Drop-off point was easy to get to, transportation was well organised. We didn’t feel rushed, everything was on easy-mode and we had the opportunity to take an endless amount of pictures. Inbetween pictures, Cheney offered us interesting facts about the Great Wall. We exchanged language/cultural differences and personal things. Overall: Cheney is a great guy and guide who made our day. Felt like we were walking around with our best friends/family.
