What to Expect
Pick-up at your hotel will be between 7.30 am and 8.30 am. Drive to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The visit takes about 40 minutes.
The tour operator will also arrange a 45-minute window of time to take pictures at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube stadiums. If you are interested in the inner structure of the stadiums, the tour guide will assist you in buying the tickets so that you can enter the stadiums to visit yourself.
Afterwards, head to the largest Lama Temple of Beijing; Yonghe Temple. Enjoy a 1-hour tour of the mysterious Tibetan-style Buddhist Temple. The tour finishes about 11.00 am.
You will then lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Afterwards, visit the old Beijing lanes by rickshaw. The Hutong tour lasts 2 hours.
Finish-up by driving to the Jingshan Park, a former imperial garden, which lies to the East of Beihai Park. The mid-summit of Jingshan is the highest point in Beijing. Looking from the peak, you are able to get a full, clear view of the Forbidden City. The Jingshan Park visit takes about 40 minutes. It is followed by a short visit to a Silk Shop to enjoy Chinese Traditional Silk Arts.
After all the day's festivities you will be transferred back to your hotels.
