Dong picked me up promptly from the airport and made sure I had a unique visit to Beijing. I’ve done all the main attractions before so asked him to take me somewhere new and he didn’t disappoint. We went to Jingshan Park and I saw some architecture I didn’t even know existed. He also made sure we went for lunch somewhere unique. He made sure I got back to the airport too. Highly recommended and will be using on my next visit to Beijing!

As I was on a short layover it was important for everything to run smoothly, and this tour exceeded every expectation. The tour guide Dong was punctual, friendly and very attentive, which means every aspect from purchasing tickets to getting the best photos was so easy! On this straightforward yet amazing tour, I’ll take you to the Mutianyu Great Wall, renowned as the most picturesque part compared to others, where you’ll dive deep into its fascinating history. Afterward, if you’re hungry, I’ll take you to a local restaurant—a spot I frequent in my hometown, just 30 minutes from the airport. I’m excited to meet you and thrilled to be your guide!

Layover tips:
If your layover spans from early morning to late evening, it’s possible to visit both the Great Wall and the city in a single day.

If your layover tour of the Forbidden City falls on a Monday (when it is closed, except during national holidays), consider visiting Jingshan Park as excellent alternatives.

  • Most of the time, I’m in charge of taking you to see the Great Wall, but if I can’t make it, my colleagues will take care of it.
  • The Forbidden City doesn't sell tickets on the day of your visit. Please make arrangements 7 days in advance in high season. It is closed on Mondays except on national traditional holidays.

I purchased this for my eldest lad and his friend as they returned from travelling in Asia. They had Dong as their guide who was superb. He picked them up exactly on time at the arranged meeting point and provided them with a memorable trip to the Great Wall. His vehicle was spacious and clean and he made them feel relaxed. After their visit to the Great Wall he took them into Beijing to see the sights before safely returning them to the Airport. An exceptional experience expertly provided. Well worth the money
