These treasure troves are stacked to the roof with a huge range of interesting and delectable products, most unknown to western eyes. Your guide will give your taste buds an educational tour. There is also the possibility to sample some of the city’s finest drinks and snacks at the friendly establishment.
Next up a real treat awaits, as you take a relaxed stroll through the local hutongs, towards the attractive area of Houhai Lake. Enjoy a lavish lunch, with dishes using some of the produce encountered throughout the day, such as mouthwatering lotus roots, delicious jie mo dun, and tasty varieties of tofu.
