Badaling Great Wall is the most visited section as well as the most commercialized section. No recommend to visit during public holiday, traffic will be bad. Everyone have to take the attraction's shuttle bus which waste time. Driving Time: 1.5 hour Entrance fee 45rmb p/p, cable car 120rmb p/p 5: Gubei Water town and Simatai Great Wall - explore beautiful water town and visit the Great Wall at night. Gubei Water Town is actually a replica of the Wuzhen Water Town in Southern China. Stroll around old streets, try local Chinese snacks, shop at the outdoor bizarres which is especially beautiful at night. While Simatai Section of the Great Wall is one of the more wild and authentic sections of the wall and has a beautiful view of Gubei and the surrounding mountains from the top.
