Visit : From Château des Thorins to Château du Moulin-à-Vent

This tour transports the curious into the daily life of the estate. A dive into the past of the Château immerses them in 3 centuries of history, alongside the great families who have carried the estate, with a faith still intact today. In the winery, we focus on the technical part: explanations of our methods and our choices, we share the genesis of our wines, from the harvest to the maturation. The vaulted cellar of the domain, which dates back from the end of the 16th century, marks the final point of the visit. The Chapelle des Thorins then opens its doors, with 4 wines available for tasting: 3 cuvées, including 2 single-vineyards from the terroirs presented at the beginning of the visit, on the current vintage, as well as a cuvée from an older vintage, in order to appreciate the ""vintage effect"" on our wines."

The intimacy of the small group ( we were 5) and the attention to detail by Clotilde our excellent guide. The drive was informative and tailored to our needs. We would have also liked some nibbles to accompany the wine tasting. just to line our stomachs at 11am!! A suggestion for improvement would be to enquire at a small restaurant en route that you could call on to arrange for lunch. We ate in Franche Ville which was fine but it took longer to be served than expected. Thanks again to Clotilde for her understanding and adapting to all eventualities. A great experience!!! Would recommend 👌

This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Lyon. We got to see the vineyards and the wine cellar and the owner was so knowledgable and even prepared a snack plate for us whilst tasting the wines. The second location was just as good with a different variety as well! definitely recommend to anyone coming to lyon this tour.

Great tour - Martin the guide was fantastic. Loved the second stop at the small winery - it was fabulous. The first stop and quiz was also good fun. Great wine and a super way to see some countryside whilst drinking good wine.
