Discover the world of Wilhelmine: See the New Palace with the Court Garden and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Margravials Opera House from the outside.

You will also walk through the garden of Haus Wahnfried, the former residence of Richard Wagner with the tomb of the famous composer and his wife Cosima.

This city tour is organised by the Tourist Information Bayreuth. The meeting point is in front of the Tourist Information Opernstraße 22, 95444 Bayreuth.
The tour ends in the historic city centre, the exact location varies depending on the tour guide.
Part of this tour is usually the ascent of the palace tower. Unfortunately, the tower is not barrier-free, as the ascent takes place via a steadily rising, uneven ramp.
Dogs and other animals are not allowed in the tower.
We also offer a discount for people with a disability card. If this applies to you, please book the category "Students (with ID)" in the ticket section.
If your disability card shows the marker "B" because you need a person to accompany you, please book the option "Students (with ID)" (6,00€) for you and the "Child"-option (0,00€) for your companion. Please show your ID to your tour guide before the tour begins.
