It was a good tour which included a short stop at Berchtesgaden for a coffee break, in addition to the Salt Mine tour which was interesting (but the English audio guide was rather minimal in terms of explanation). The guide had a good sense of humour and kept us entertained. But the price was a little steep for half a day.
The driver was very knowledgeable. The salt mine was fun and interesting. The kids really enjoyed the mine slides and sampling the salt brine. However I don't feel like the excursion was worth the price. I would recommend driving up on your own and pay at the salt mines.
I almost cried when the music started. With Covid-19, I have not listened to live music for months. The flautist was wonderful, and I think the harpsichord player was terrific as well. Thank you for this experience.
I ended up with small group, the guide was informative and made few stops for breathtaking views along the way. Salt mine was fun than I ever thought it would be, recommend the tour for families.
It was so nice to perform at Chapel, where you can't enter the Resident's tour. Kindly explain between the performances , but I couldn't understand the German ;)
