Stand in front of turret one to get an up-close and personal look at the barrel of a 16-inch 50 caliber Mark 7. Continue a level above the main deck and see inside the captain’s cabin. Learn about president Franklin D. Roosevelt's custom-built bathtub, the first aboard a USN vessel. It was built for his stay on board because of his inability to take showers due to polio. Next, you'll see The 03 level flag bridge. Hear about the history of the ship and how only IOWA’s 03 level conning tower was armored among the four ships of her class. As you move toward the stern on the 05 level you'll get a closer look at the replicas of the 20mm Phalanx CIWS guns. Continue along the tour route, which will lead you down to a narrow deck behind one of the 5-inch gun mounts. Take a moment to walk around the large fantail when you reach the main deck. In one week, we did a maximum of activities and thanks to the 5-day GO CITY pass, I saved more than USD250.00 per person! On the other hand, you have to be organized to optimize trips and activities. We had time to do Warner and Universal studios, SoFi Stadium, San Diego Zoo, Madame Tussauds, Legoland, Knott's Berry Farm. Big favorite for Universal studio and the private tour of SoFi stadium and disappointment for the San Diego Zoo. In short, I recommend this pass to make real savings! But don't forget to book certain activities in advance!

The ship is run as a foundation. The many volunteers there do a really great job that deserves respect. We really enjoyed the visit. You can park right in front of the ship in a huge parking lot.

Interesting history of the ship from the beginning and also its rebirth as a museum thanks to the many former members of the crew and their helpers.

We liked the ease of booking and having everything already paid in advance. Arriving at the activities was very easy.

There is a rude guard at the entrance, I actually did the tour alone, there was no guide
