I had booked to take the tours on Sunday 9th October but checked at the start of The City Tour on 8th October. There I found that the tickets are valid for 2 days. I therefore took the first City Tour of the day. I could take the Skyline Tour on the Sunday, making my 2 day stay in Bath more relaxed. The drivers and the person issuing the tickets were all most helpful. They became friends. Being able to get on or off the buses at stops of your choosing helps you see more of what appeals to you the most WHEN YOU WANT. The wording online mentions the exchange of vouchers prior to travel. This turned out to be irrelevant and frustrating but was forgotten once I had my ticket. These tours overcome the problem of there not being a 3D version of Google Maps to deal with the city. I often say that to properly see any place is to walk around that place. These tours proved me wrong and were a lot easier on my legs.

Easy to book on line but there was also someone at the stop & on the bus so you could buy tickets. Really helpful drivers. We did the city tour first on the top deck then later sat downstairs and hopped on and off. We also noticed that the skyline tour stopped by our hotel which was very handy after a long day.

Good if you want to get your bearings around Bath. Short but informative with interesting bits of trivia. There’s no info about this but I spent ages trying to find a ‘City Sightseeing’ bus specifically but it seems that Toot Bus also accept the voucher? Still not sure to be honest as that wasn’t the case in London when I asked. Anyway, the easiest stops to hop on from are just down from the Jane Austen centre for the city one and on Manvers St by the Police Station (opposite the station for the city one, outside it for the skyline one).
