Full description
Enjoy an informed, leisurely overview of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath. Discover the city's main sights on both a river cruise and a guided walking tour with a local guide. Meet at Bath Quays on the riverside in central Bath. Be greeted by your skipper and guide to start your unique land and water tour. Begin with a river cruise along the Avon River, taking in sights such as the Half Penny Bridge, St. John's Church, Bath Abbey, Parade Gardens, Pulteney Bridge, the Weir, and the Mill. Once back at the mooring, take a short 50-minute walking tour with a crew member. Get an overview of Bath's rich history and learn how to orientate yourself within the city. The tour includes the main sights of the Roman Baths, The Abbey, Guildhall, the Ancient City Wall, the Theatre Royal, and Queens Square. Though there won't be time to enter the sights, you will be able to explore these on your own at the tour's conclusion. A nice sunny day is a plus but although it was miserable and raining on our trip it was still interesting, informative as well as dry on the boat! The guide was very nice and interesting to listen to. Our guide around Bath was excellent!! He knew so much about the history of Bath, he was very knowledgeable, brilliant all round!

Our tour guide was very enthusiastic

We had been to Bath 3 times before to visit a relatives grave, but this time we decided to learn about the place. Our tour guide Georgina was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She smiled all through our walking tour while explaining everything. Our boat tour guide Anna was so friendly and also knowledgeable. She made us feel welcome and served us some tea. It is definitely something I would recommend to do while visiting Bath and intend to return with our teenagers to experience.

Excellent boat trip

The boat trip was excellent. The tour guide was lovely and friendly and made the boat trip even more enjoyable with the bubbly personality. She was so well spoken and confident when explaining the history of the main attractions we could see whilst on the trip. Definitely recommend this to all who want to see Bath by boat and just experience something different.
