Enjoy an informed, leisurely overview of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath. Discover the city's main sights on both a river cruise and a guided walking tour with a local guide. Meet at Bath Quays on the riverside in central Bath. Be greeted by your skipper and guide to start your unique land and water tour. Begin with a river cruise along the River Avon, taking in sights such as the Half Penny Bridge, St. John's Church, Bath Abbey, Parade Gardens, Pulteney Bridge, the Weir, and the Mill. Once back at the mooring, take a short 50-minute walking tour with a crew member. Get an overview of Bath's rich history and learn how to orientate yourself within the city. The tour includes the main sights of the Roman Baths, The Abbey, Guildhall, the Ancient City Wall, the Theatre Royal, and Queens Square. There won't be time to enter the sights, but you will be able to explore these on your own at the tour's conclusion. The tour includes a kid's quiz to help keep them entertained on the walking tour.

Simply brilliant and well worth doing. Friendly and knowledgeable guides both on the river trip (a great way to see the city) and the walking tour showing us parts of Bath’s history you’d otherwise miss. Five of us went as part of our weekend away we all thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this.

We had a brilliant experience with the City Boat Trip and Walking Tour very welcoming and accommodating. The trip on the boat was lovely, Paul and his team are very informative and all the highlights that can be seen from the boat were pointed out to us, it was great to hear the stories and the history of the river and have all our questions answered. The selection of beverages available on board were also impressive! Annabelle who led the walking tour was fantastic she had a wealth of historical knowledge of the area and made it fun for all ages from 8 to 65. Was great to see the parts of the City that we wouldn't have necessarily seen if we had walked around ourselves. My son loved the quiz and the medal at the end. We have learned so much from this trip which will stay with us. We Would all highly recommend this as an activity when visiting Bath as a must do. Great value for money and added to the 'special' feeling of the City. Thank you.

Paul was very knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm for the River Avon and the history of Bath. My daughters and I had a very pleasant trip in the sunshine which was both informative and relaxing. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Paul and Emma for your service. It was fabulous.
