Both Tours start the same- After being picked up from Prague head to the heart of Bohemia and the Saxon Switzerland National Park, the youngest national park in the Czech Republic. Make a stop at the Bastei Bridge (the German side of the park), perched high above the River Elbe. Enjoy stunning views as you walk across the bridge. HIKING TOUR: Then, continue to Pravcicka Gate on the Czech Republic side of the park. Admire Europe’s largest natural sandstone gate. Pause for lunch (included), before transferring to Kamenice Gorge. You will board a small dinghy for a scenic journey through a canyon carved deep in the sandstone cliffs. NARNIA TOUR: After a stop for lunch (included) we will take a hike on the Tisa Walls rock formation and observe Narnia filming locations. After the journey through the labyrinth, we will head back to Prague.

Start with pickup from your accommodation in Prague 1, or a meeting point in Prague 1, and head to Germany to visit the famous Bastei Bridge in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. This part is relatively easy. Admire the breathtaking views and then drive through the Elbe Canyon back to the Czech part of the park which is called Bohemian Switzerland National Park. Kind reminder. This is a typical hiking tour. We are getting many customers who underestimate a physical difficulty of this tour. In order to fully enjoy this tour, you should have at least moderate level of fitness and no mobility impairments. Depending on the season (From April to October), visit Pravcicka Brana, the largest sandstone arch in Europe. This impressive structure looks like something out of one of the Lord of the Rings movies. To get there, you must walk 3 km up the hill, which is not very steep but may be challenging. Afterward, have lunch at a local family restaurant run by a mother and her daughter. Do not have high expectations about the restaurant. You will be literally in the middle of the forest where civilization exists only 7 months of the year in the season. People are simple and the food too. After lunch, head down the hill and stairs to the scenic Edmunds and Wild Gorges and take a boat trip on the water (From April to October). And then walk the same way back on the hill. This part is probably the most challenging. Depending on the season (November to March), you will visit the Tisa Rocks, a key attraction in the area, and admire the views. The total hiking distance divided into three parts in the main season is about 12 km. We cannot judge the difficulty of the tour. For us it is easy. Like a walking in the park. Because we are very fit. However some tourists claim the tour is extremely hard. So the truth is somewhere in the middle. Just remember that all those nice places on our pictures are not next to the road and you must take some effort to get there. Which is rewarding too. So if you understand this tour is a hiking, not a walking, you are welcome to join it.

Take an easy 45-minute walk there, then marvel at the biggest sandstone gate in Europe, made even more famous by the Chronicles of Narnia, and soak up the spectacular views of the area from on top of the gate. As you walk around Pravčická Gate, a famous local photographer, Julius Pufler, will take your photos. After the tour, receive professional, high-quality photos of you and your group. Once you’ve explored Pravčická Gate, take an easier and quicker walk down before beginning the journey back to Prague. The tour concludes with drop-off at your accommodation in Prague. The boat in Gorge is operating from April till and of the October. There is different destination instead. It’s called Tisa rocks. Beautiful sandstone maze or rock city.
