What people are saying about Basilicata

Excellent walking tour of Matera. Incredibly informative and entertaining way to hear about the history of this interesting city from a local. Matera is a fascinating city but without a guide, we just would’ve wandered with no idea what we were looking at. 100% recommended!

We took a walking tour with Marinella, an expert guide, passionate about the craft, nice and smiling. In a short time she made us grasp the essence of the city and she also stayed longer in order to better explain some aspects of Matera. Highly recommended.

Angela took us on a fascinating tour of the city. Super clear explanations, interesting anecdotes and lots of suggestions on things to do after the visit (which museums to see, which churches to visit, etc.). Highly recommended!

Best to do a tour at the beginning of your Matera visit, great to get an overview and some insights.

Fantastic guide. Super knowledgeable and from the area. I would highly recommend.
