Know before you go
- Admission is free for those under 18 and visitors under 26 with EU ID.
- To have access free of charge, visitors under 18 years of age or EU citizens under 26 must show a photo ID with a picture at the ticketing station first before going to the entrance of the monument.
- Opening Hours: April to September: Monday to Saturday: 10am - 6:15pm / Sunday: 12pm - 6:15pm; October to March: Monday to Saturday: 10am - 5:15pm / Sunday: 12pm - 5:15pm.
- Free entrance: The first Sunday of January, February, March, November and December and during European Heritage Days (3rd weekend of September each year).
- On October 24, 2024, the Basilica will open from 10 AM to 11 AM (last entrance at 10:30 AM); and from 12:00 PM to 5:15 PM (last entrance at 4:45 PM).
- On October 29, 2024, the Basilica will open from 10 AM to 2:30 PM (last entrance at 2 PM) and from 3:30 PM to 5:15 PM (last entrance at 4:45 PM).
- On November 17, 2024, the Basilica will close at 12:00 PM (last entrance at 11:30 AM).
