Discover the largest collection of funerary sculpture from the 12th to the 16th-centuries contained within the basilica's walls. Admire stunning examples of Gothic art and architecture as you stroll through the inside and outside of the building. Beautiful piece of history in the unproper location. Saint Denis, the city, is crazy, the feeling of unsecurity is so strong that it somehow ruins the pleasure of visiting the cathedral. Nevertheless, Saint Denis Basilica is amazing, it surely worth the trouble to go there.

This was a fascinating tour (self guided - an audio guide is available at the ticket office for €3). So many of France’s best known leaders (pre-1900s to ancient times) are entombed there. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but it’s ok.

Really worth the trip to see this masterpiece of funereal art and the burial sites of famous French royslty

StDenis was what we expected. Amazing historical site. Also, attended AM mamas which was lovely , as well.

So cool to see all the burial places for many French kings. The church is beautiful and quite fascinating
