Rome: City Highlights Evening Ebike Tour with Food and Wine

1. Rome: City Highlights Evening Ebike Tour with Food and Wine

Explore the sights of Rome's city center on a guided electric bike tour. Enjoy cycling on an easy-to-use e-bike, complete with an integrated light system to illuminate the monuments and light the way. Ride to the top of the Aventine Hill to watch the sunset. From the Circus Maximus, get set up with a new e-bike, helmet, and other gear. After an explanation of how to use the bike, reach the first stop: the Belvedere of Romulo and Remo. This viewpoint overlooks the ancient Roman race track Circus Maximus and the Palatine Hill. Continue to the top of the Aventine Hill, reaching the Garden of the Oranges. Arrive just in time for a quick look over downtown Rome as the sun sets before continuing on to the next stop: the Basilica of Santa Sabina. This church is the oldest standing church in Rome with an extraordinary history. It was originally an imperial-era villa belonging to lady Sabina. Her home would become used as an informal meeting place for Christians, traces of which can still be seen embedded in the walls of the church. After a quick look inside, cycle along the riverside through Trastevere and over onto the other side of the Tiber River, passing by the square of Campo di Fiori, once a site of executions. In the middle of the square sits the statue of Giorando Bruno, burnt on the stake by the church for heresy. Head through the historic center of Rome and see the Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona. Then, stop in front of the Pantheon for an authentic food and drink tasting session before a visit to the Trevi Fountain. Having had a great opportunity to meet other participants and taste Italian hams, cheeses, olives, bread, and wine, start the journey back through the city, passing over the Capitoline Hill with a view of the Roman Forum. Seeing where Julius Caesar and the senate would have argued illuminated at night from above is a feeling to remember. Make a final stop at the Colosseum, then get tips and recommendations on where to go and what to do for the rest of your night out.

Excellent attention, Daniela was very kind and clear in her explanations, I recommend taking this tour before another, so you will already have known and visited the places and you will be able to delve into what has caught your attention, the wine and the appetizer were excellent, a great adventure in a nutshell
