These include the Basilica of Saint Nicholas and its precious Crypt, the ancient Cathedral of Saint Sabinus, and the millenary Swabian Castle. Stop several times for tastings. In a panificio (bakery) learn how focaccia barese is made and taste a slice of this delicious fresh Italian bread. Visit a salumeria (delicatessen) to find out about different kinds of cheeses and salami while drinking a glass of wine. In one particular traditional corner of the town, discover fried street food with the strong flavors of sgagliozze and panzerotti. In a gelateria, enjoy real home-made ice cream choosing your favorite one from a fantastic selection.  The tour finishes by discovering the modern French part of the city. Simona was a great city guide. Friendly, open-minded, relaxed and took the time to answer all questions. There was no time pressure to be felt :-) we only give 4 stars because the food presentation and the number or abundance was a bit poor. But in relation to the price it's fine and we complain at a high level :-) Simona gets 5 stars from us and we would recommend the tour without reservation, because you take a lot of cultural things with you. Not just about the food.

My sister and I had this experience as soon as we arrived in Bari. Teresa our guide was of a unique sympathy and told us the history of the city in a very funny and accurate way. All obviously accompanied by tasting of excellent food that gives a little taste of Bari's gastronomy. Absolutely recommended

The tour of Bari was really great. We even had them in German - which is the only point of criticism at the same time. Some of the stories about the history of Bari's old town would probably have been more understandable in English, since our guide (despite her impressive knowledge of German after a short time) was not able to reproduce everything perfectly. The snacks in between were really great and no less good even for us as lactose intolerant and pescetarian.
